Photo Project: Deported from Germany
They come from Frankfurt, Bitburg, Velbert, Lippstadt, Wuppertal, or Kassel. They were born and raise in these cities, went to school there for years. Until, unexpectedly, police officers knocked at their door one night: Deportation! 14 deported youngsters, Roma and Albanians, went on a tour of exploration in the summer of 2007, using single-use cameras. The results, pictures of daily life in Kosovo and South-Serbia, show where the teens live now and how they feel.
